Clipix Boards

Have you ever heard about clipix? If a friend of mine, hadn't told me about this site. I would never have found out about this site. It ia a very interesting site and it's easy to use. I personally opened an account in there, but so far I didn't have much time yet to clip something to my clipix boards only one clip boards. Mostly during the weekend, I have more time working behind my laptop. So this weekend, I will clip a couple of articles from my blogs, places that I would like to travel someday, places that I have been before, my photography, my upcoming projects, and lots more. I am so excited to put everything on my clipix boards next weekend.

Clipix is available for an iPhone application so you can take your clipboards where ever you go and clip new things just by using your mobile. You can create as much clipboards as you wish. Of course you can share them on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Turkey

We never went to Turkey before, it is a bit far from our country we haven't had a chance to go there yet, but it really is a country we would like to visit some day.. When I was still going to school learning the Dutch language, I had a friend who came from Turkey. She told me that almost every Summer she went back to her own country to visit her parents. I am happy for her that she can. Last time I went back to Jakarta, the city where i was born, was around four years ago.

If the opportunity presents itself, we could visit Turkey someday, I don't think it is a good idea for us to go during the Summer. Because the weather would be too hot for all of us, my oldest son can't stand high temperatures for too long. I was just browsing around for cheap turkey holidays but i sure do not wish to go in the Summer.

Places that we think are worth to visit in Turkey are: Topkapi Palace (see image), Aya Sofya, and Bodrum. Of course there are more places that we could enjoy visiting. I just don't have the time to browse around to find all of them in one day :D

Our Summer's vacation

Finally, after waiting SOO long for my hubby could take his holidays hours . Few days ago, we got the response from hubby's work that he could take two weeks off for next Summer. So...we are going to city Venlo. It still in the Netherlands but quite far from our city. I will tell you more about the event that we are going to visit after we booking a bungalow.

I am so excited to go there and make photos :D

Family Cruise

One of my dream travels is going on a cruise. I saw photos from a friend of mine who got back from her cruise vacation last Autumn. Seeing those photos made me to want to go on a cruise even more, but realize that, we really have to make sure our budget fits the prize. That's why this morning while Matthew was taking his nap, I was browsing and did a search for cruises that will fit our budget.

After looking around, I found out that the best cruise for us would be a Family Cruise. The facilities on board this cruise are mini bowling, Nintendo Wii consoles, 4D cinema, kids' pool, etc. I am sure our children will never get bored during this trip. We are not going for a cruise this Summer or even next summer next year. We will have to wait for another two or three years until Matthew is old enough to travel far away. At the moment he's only 7 months. For now, we will have to manage our financial status to make sure that when we go on a cruise, it fits our budget with some money to spare :D

My Dream Book

When I was a little girl, I had a dream book. My dream book was full of cutting pictures that I cut from magazines or newspapers. Mostly it was landscape pictures. I imagined myself that I was there in that pictures. Besides, landscape pictures I liked to cut pictures where lots of teenagers took a break waiting their next classes. I imagined myself that I could go to college as well. That time, it felt like impossible for me to go to college because we live because of charity from my uncle. After graduated from high school, I worked. With helped from my ex-director where I used to work. I went to college.

September 2004, I move from Asia to Europe (the Netherlands). It was a big step of my life. Now, every day I feel like I live in that landscape pictures on my dream book with two children and a husband that love me SOOO much.

The point of this post is never give up of your dream. Every thing is possible with your believe, work hard and work hard. Don't just sit and do nothing, your dream will not just come to you. Although, I don't have my dream book in reality anymore. But still, I have it in my head. I do have few countries that I would like to visit someday ^___*

Rent a car during vacations

I have been thinking, if we are going back to England again for a vacation, why don't we just hire a car while we are there. Because last time we went to London, we wasted our time waiting for some public transportation. At that time, we only had one child. Now that we have two children, going on vacation will be a bit more difficult if we have to depend on public transportation alone. I would like to share a couple photos during the time we were visiting London in 2009.

Natural History Museum

I know a site where we can hire a car and it doesn't matter where in the world we might go. This site won four awards during the years 2010 and 2011. For car hire in Canada, Australia, USA, and any place in Europe and more you can visit this site.

When we are going to visit my brother in Perth. We could just hire a car and explore many more places in Australia. Sounds like an adventure doesn't it.

Van Blankendaell Park

Last month, one day after Christmas we went there. It was around 30 minutes from our city. Van Blankendaell Park is smallest than the zoo but bigger than the children farm. It was beautiful day, the sun was shining but the wind was TOO cold.

They have cleanest toilet that I ever seen. Hubby asked if I made a shot of their toilet....LOL. Maybe next time, we definitely will go again someday when Matthew is bigger. So...he could enjoy seeing those animals as well.

Things to do in the Netherlands with children - part 2

On part 1, I wrote about places that we went to visit since the last few years (posted not all of them yet). This time, I am going to share places that interested to visit that we are going to plan as well.

Burgers' Zoo
In here, we could see not only the biggest mangrove plants collection in Europe but there are different kind of birds and tortoise.

I was born in Jakarta - Indonesia. It is one of interested place that we would like to visit. Actually, I am curious. Too bad, the place is far from our city. So, we could not just take a day out. It will be too tiring for the children. If we plan to go there someday, we have to spend a night in that city.

At this zoo, there is a biggest play jungle in Europe.

Safaripark Beekse Bergen
I've been go to safari park few times in my own country but never in the Netherlands. It's open only in March until Augustus. Again it is far from our city :(( We need around 2,5 hours one way to go there. According to my research, the biggest elephant in Europe lives in here.

My hubby went here when he was single. I hope we could visit here too someday and take lots of birds shots :D

Things to do in Mallorca

A few days ago, I wrote an article about Magaluf (one of the islands near Spain). Another famous island near Spain is Mallorca. I've never been to Spain before, but my hubby ever did. I thought he went on Holidays to Majorca with his family but he was not. He never visited Mallorca either.

This beach is beautiful isn't it. I heard from people who have been there, that Mallorca has a couple of beautiful beaches, awesome landscapes and delicious food. If you are planning to go there and are looking for a place to stay, feel free to browse around for some cottage rentals here.

Off-Peak Travel: A Different Approach to Vacations

There are many different approaches to traveling, such as planes, jet charter, trains and cars, but if you want to have a truly different travel experience, consider looking into off-peak travel. This is a good way to have a great trip, save some money, and see more than the typical tourist would.

Last minute deals

The first week of the new year, hubby will get one week off from his work. But until now, we don't have any plans yet to go anywhere. Because we are not sure what the weather will be like. Last year, we had a heavy winter. We hope that this winter, we don't have too much snow. We have seen enough snow since last year ^__*

Today, I got a little bit extra free time when Matthew was taking a a nap. I took this chance by browsing through some late holiday deals. After browsing a while, I decided to stop because none of those fits our financial budget. I don't think Matthew is ready to travel too far away yet. So, another option to spend this Christmas school holiday, is to just go a day out. Now, we have a car. It will be more easy and faster for us to go somewhere not too far out from our city.

But even now, I have no idea where we will be going this Winter season?

The World

I just found out why some people we know, would like to go to Dubai during the wintertime next year. It is because they want to see "The World" with their own eyes. I heard a few of them already found a couple of good Deals on Dubai Holidays and they can't wait to go there next Winter. It is better to book everything for your vacation a few months ahead. So, you can get a good price :D

Red Sea

It is one of my dream travels to be able to visit places that have been written about in the Bible. Two days ago I wrote about interesting places to visit when you are in Egypt. One of those is Mount Sinai. Today, I just heard about red sea holidays. Where exactly is the Red sea? It is somewhere between the continents of Asia and Africa.

So...if someday I would be able to visit Egypt, I have to make sure to visit Hurghada near the Red Sea too. Let's see what kind of things people might do near the Red Sea:
# Explore the Red sea under water with the Submarine "Sindbad".
# Go on a Snorkeling trip

From Hurghada you can take a short flight to Cairo and Luxor. Although, I have never been to Egypt before, I am sure there are lots of ancient places worth to visit. I hope we will be able to visit Egypt some time.

Plan to go to Magaluf

A few days ago, in my other blog I posted about our plan to go on a vacation to another country on our 10th Anniversary. I received a response from a blogger who read that post. She gave a recommendation to go on holidays to magaluf. Magaluf is an island in Spain. This place got lots of visitors from British and North European countries. Mostly because of their beaches.

Since we are going with our children, I am wondering if they have any interesting places for children to visit. I found out that there are a couple of places like:
# The Pirates Show
# The Western Water Park
It is the perfect place for Jason and hubby to spend their time on their water attractions.
# The Marineland
Besides watching the Dolphins and Sea Lion shows, we could see sharks, a tropical aquarium, an aviary and lots of animals. I can't wait to make a lot of photos of animals during our stay there.

I think it is a really great idea to go to Magaluf on our 10th Anniversary. Anyway, Spain is not too far from our country. So, it will fit our financial budget.

Egypt

A colleague of my hubby is going to celebrate his 20th Wedding Anniversary. They asked us if we know which country would be best to visit. Then I remembered about a friend of mine and her husband who went to Egypt last Spring. That was their second trip to Egypt. Last year, they went to Egypt as well during the Summertime. According to a friend of mine, Egypt is a very beautiful country and has many interesting places to visit. So, hubby told his colleague about Egypt and now they asked our help to find Egypt holidays that will fit their budget.

I read about things to do in Egypt while I was browsing through Google for them. These are some interesting places to visit during your stay.

Pyramids of Giza
This is known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. They are really worth a visit so you can have a look at hem with our own eyes. I've never seen any of those seven wonders of the ancient worlds :(( even though, one of them is in my country of birth.

Mount Sinai
A place mentioned in the Bible.

Valley of the Kings

I hope we could go to there too someday.

At Schiphol

Last week Saturday, we went to Schiphol - Amsterdam. My mother went back to Jakarta after three months helped me taking care of Matthew. Time flew so fast.

We didn't go direct to our house after my mother went to boarding room. We took lots of fun photos while we were there. These are some of photos that I could share.

Animals and Nature

We love to bring our children to the zoo. We went to the Artis zoo in Amsterdam on Jason 1st and 2nd birthday. We are going to the zoo as well next year on Matthew 1st birthday. But I am not sure which zoo are we going to visit this time.

On the beginning of this year, we went to the Diergaarde Blijdorp zoo in Rotterdam. Not much we could see that time because of the weather was not too goo and I was pregnant (made me can't too long walk). I am sure we are going back there someday.

Bergen aan Zee Sea Aquarium in Bergen aan Zee city. We went there Summer last year. It was fun trip, and I could take lots of photos. Some of the photos could I made for a calendar with undersea theme :D

Ski Holidays

An old school friend of mine, was having his vacation at ski resort Valfréjus in France last year. I saw her photos through her facebook account and I could see it was beautiful place to visit with friends and family.

We have never been on ski holidays in France. We really would love to go some day. Any way, it is not possible for us to go this year because Matthew is still a baby but who knows maybe we can go there next year or maybe around 2013. That's why, when Matthew was taking a nap, I was browsing around to find some more information. I need to find what place would be the best for us and what our budget would allow. We know it is not a cheap holiday, that's why I need to find more details.

Today, I spent some time browsing through the "Inghams" site. It is very easy to browse through, everything we need to know about ski holidays can be found there like: ski resorts, ski chalets, ski short breaks, luxury ski holidays, family ski holidays, and ski deals. The most important thing is that they have a lot more information and not only about ski resorts in France they have information from all around the world (Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, USA, etc)

Of course, you know why we would choose France? Yes, you are right. It is because France isn't too far away from our country, the Netherlands. There are 17 ski resorts in France. I think the best ski resort for us to visit would be Val d'Isere. The information I found, tells us the view of this resort is breathtaking. I would love to make lots of scenery photos if I could.

What I like from this resort is that there are lots of activities for families plus kids facilities. Childcare is available in this resort as well.

Actually, I would like to visit Lapland someday. A friend of mine whom I met through internet lives there since a couple of years. While I was browsing through the Lapland holidays header, I found out about trips to Santas village. Awesome. Jason and Matthew would be anxious to meet Santa and his elves in his magical workshop. If we choose to stay for 7 nights, we could have a dinner with Santa. As I read, Santa will arrive with his reindeers and the children could meet him personally and receive a small gift from Santa.

Oh boy....what holidays should we choose, going on a ski vacation in France or meet Santa in Lapland???

Things to do in Den Helder

I live in this city for about 7 years. Let's see if I could write down more about places that we visited the last few years.

Fort Kijkduin
I did visit this place long time ago, but never really go inside of this place. That time, we only took few photos outside Fort Kijkduin. It is not easy to go there with public transportation. But now, since we have a car, I consider to go there with children to see sea aquarium.

National Redding museum
We went there Summer 2009. Besides, looking around inside the museum. We took a tour boat (around 15-20 minutes). Jason had a great time with tour boat.

De Helderse Vallei or children farm

We just visited this place last month. It is beautiful place and I took lots of photos. Lots of children likes to visit here. Besides animals, there is education center as well. These are some photos that I could share in here while we were there.

This one is one of my favorites. It looks like this bird is thinking isn't it :D

Delft

Last Tuesday, we went to Delft to visit a good friend of my mother. We had to change the train twice. Oh boy, it was tiring trip for all of us. I don't think we will go to Delft without staying a night in there. Although we go to Delft few times, but we are never had a change to go around Delft city. Too bad isn't it.

Every time my mother come to visit me, we go to Delft to visit her. She live at the apartment 11th floor. It was beautiful view from her balcony. My hubby took these shots while we were there.

Reasons to go on vacation to Thailand

I just know that I will be going to visit Thailand someday. Maybe it is because my hubby and brother have been to Thailand a couple of years ago and they were having a lot of fun while they were there. It made me feel a little bit jealous because I am the only one who has never been to Thailand before ^___*.

Actually, there are a couple of other reasons why I would like to visit Thailand, we could combine our trip when we are going to visit my mother in Jakarta, Thailand isn't much more then a four hour flight from Jakarta:

* I would like to visit the Grand Palace. I've seen this place a couple of times through my postcard collections, but I have never seen it with my own eyes. Looks like some magnificent architecture.
* Floating markets.
* It would not be a perfect vacation if I could not visit Phuket. I could make lots of beautiful photos with my camera and capture beautiful memories.
* Chiang Mai. Why? It is not only because I heard Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand but also because there are more than 300 temples. I have never seen any temples in the Netherlands. That's why it is very interesting for me to be able to capture this kind of architecture.
* James Bond island. I don't know why they call this island James Bond island :D It makes me curious and I would like to visit this island.
* I have an aunt who lives in Bangkok and it's been many years since I last saw her.

Those are some of the reasons why I would like to go to Thailand. That's why this afternoon, I was looking around for cheap flights to Thailand. I wanted to know how much budget we would need to travel to Thailand.

I am not sure when we will be able to fly to Thailand, I think it is wise to wait another two or three years. Until our newborn, Matthew, has grown up a bit. I remember the last time we went to visit Jakarta, Jason was 1,5 years old. Jason cried a lot in the plane, he couldn't sleep well. Even for us, it was a long journey from Amsterdam to Jakarta around 15-16 hours in the plane. We don't want to have the same problem with Matthew when we go to Thailand or some other place next time.

Few weeks ago, my brother went to Melbourne with his family for about 1 week vacation. He didn't say much about which places that he visited while he was there. So, I decided to browse through Google about things to do in Melbourne. These are some of places that I am interested to visit if we manage to go to Melbourne someday :D

On May's vacations, Jason and hubby went to Goudvis - St. Maartenszee. I was not come with them, because it can't walk too far anymore. So...I thought it would be better for them to have FUN without me around them :D Meanwhile, I was just at home and work.

Las Vegas holidays

I have never been to Las Vegas before. I am sure that going to Las Vegas is everyone's dream. Too bad we are not sure if we could go to Las Vegas for some Las Vegas holidays. But I still started to browse through internet looking for things to do if the time comes we can really go there.

Las Vegas entertaintment is not only for adult people but for children as well. If we are going there, of course we are going with our children. That’s why I was browsing for things to do in Las Vegas with children. I found some interesting places like:

Secret Garden and Dolphin habitat
It is not only fun for Jason but I could take lots of photos when we are there.

Circus-Circus
According to Wikipedia, Circus-Circus is a hotel and casino. I am not sure yet if this place gives a circus show to watch for all family members because I couldn't find much about that.

Shark Reef Aquarium
Wow...this is definitely a very interesting place to visit. We are not going skip this place. There are more than 2.000 animals livliving in this aquarium. Imagine how many photos I could make during our visit.

Of course there are many other interesting places to visit in Las Vegas.

Ocean Florida holidays

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote that one of our wishes is to be able to visit Florida someday. There are some theme parks that we would like to visit in Florida because it would be great fun for children as well as grown ups to go there. Today, I had some time to browse around and find some more information about Florida's Gold Coast and the Gulf Coast while Jason was taking a nap. He was not feeling very well today.

Let's see, this is definitely one of many places that we would like to visit at Florida's Gold Coast, Gold Coast Railroad Museum. My son, Jason, likes trains a lot, you could say he goes wild when he sees trains ;) especially when it comes to the old steam locomotives. We visited a couple of railroad museums and he never got bored when we were there. Of course, we will not miss this opportunity when we visit Florida.

At the "Ocean Florida" site, I was able to get some ideas about Ocean Florida holidays. There are a few exclusive offers that might be interesting to you as well. Talking about myself, I am interested in those offers:

I am totally agree with Anatole France. I have few places cross in my mind that I would like to visit someday. But there is a question, "How could I go to those places when I don't have regularly income every month?" My hubby is just an ordinary man with regularly salary. I am just an ordinary woman with such a big dream.

Don't take me wrong. When I was a little, I was dreaming living aboard in such a peace place like I live now. I work hard to achieve my dream. Because of my dreams, I feel live. Act, dream, plan and believe are just one package to achieve what you want to reach in my life.

Places to visit during the holidays season

This Summer, we are not planning to go anywhere because I will be giving a birth around June this year. But my parents in law and my mother are planning to come visit us respectively from Curacao and Jakarta, they will be here around the end of July. Usually we are going on Summer holidays around Jason's birthday every year . I hope he will understand why this year, we can not go too far from home.

A couple of days ago, a friend of mine gave me a link to the "Direct Holidays" site. She said it is a great site to plan our holidays. Although we don't plan to go on a holiday vacation any time soon, I still like to browse through their site. Because it can give me an estimate on our financial budget, how much we need to go on holidays to Spain, example. Jason's classmate went to Spain last December. I forgot to ask to which city they went. Since Spain isn't too far from our country, maybe we could go there around Spring or Summer next year.

I spent a few minutes to look around what places in Spain we could visit when we go with the children. It looks like Isla Magica - Seville, is a great place to visit. Another destination is in Madrid, that would be Madrid zoo. Not only Jason would like to visit the zoo, but I like to visit the zoo as well, because I could take lots of pictures with all the different kinds of animals for my online store.

Spain is one of the top 5 destinations over the Easter period. The other countries are Florida (the most popular), England, Algarve and Egypt. Around 1.5 years ago, we went to London - England. Besides the fact we would like to go on a cruise vacation someday, Going to Florida is one of our big wishes as well. Why? Because there are lots of places to visit for family holidays:

1. Walt Disney World. We have been to Disneyland Paris (a few years ago before Jason was born) but we never visited this place.

2. Sea World. I am sure I could take some awesome photos while watching their shows.

3. The Florida aquarium. We visited a couple of aquariums in the Netherlands. It would be awesome if we could visit this aquarium when we are in Florida.

There are so many more places to visit in Florida. No wonder Florida is one of the most popular cities to visit during the holidays seasons.

Few weeks ago, we went to Schagen (small city not far from ours) to see an occasion cars display. The weather was nice, the sun was shining. We bought ice creams and sat in front of the cafe. My hubby ordered a cup of coffee as well.

Lounge Chair

We have several plans to achieve this year. My hubby's goal this year is that we could buy a car around the beginning of next year. Or if we are lucky, we could buy a car the end of this year. Besides a car, we need to buy a new couch for our living room. That would be one of my goals for this year. At the moment, I am working hard so we can buy a decent couch. I am hope I could buy a couch before my parents in law come to visit.

To find out how much money we need to buy a new couch, I was browsing around and ended at the chair store. This indoor Chaise lounge chair looks really comfortable. But I don't think it would fit our small living room. That's just too bad right?

Not much people in my own country like to lay down outside when the sun is shining. But in the Netherlands, they are enjoying every minute lying down on an Outdoor Chaise lounge chair when the sun is shining in in Summer season.

When everything is settled, we would like to buy some outdoor furniture as well for our garden.

Maybe you already knew that my son, Jason, has an an allergy for dust mites, cat hair and dog hair. Last year, he was coughing quite a lot every nigh all night long. Because of that, we decided to change his pillow, mattress and duvet with special anti allergy products. It was expensive but it was worth it.

Today, I accidentally stopped at the "Achoo Allergy" site. It is a site specialized in allergies and selling products that could help people who have a problem with dust mites, food allergy, seasonal allergy, etc. It is easy to find what you are looking for on this site, all categories are placed by type, need and brand. It took me a while browsing through the mattress covers section.

Two years ago, on Jason's 3rd birthday, we went to London for a couple of days. Until now, he keeps asking us when we are going back to London again. I wish that we could make his wish come true, because there are so many places in London that we have not been able to visit.

Cruise Ship

I like to watch "Cruise Ship Diaries" series by National Geographic Channel every Saturday. Too bad, two weeks ago was the last season and last weekend I didn't see any new season from it :(( After I was watching those series, I realized that it was not easy to live and work on those cruise ship for months. Rotterdam - part 1

We went to Rotterdam on Friday, 7 January 2011. We had to change train twice. Jason was really excited when we went. From our city to Rotterdam took around 1 hours 40 minutes. It was because we took fast train from Amsterdam to Rotterdam. If we don't took fast train, total journey on road will be 2 hours 10 minutes. It was our first time took fast train, little bit expensive but at least we arrived faster :D

Arrived in Rotterdam, we went to Rails Mini world Rotterdam. I took lots of photos while we were there. I am not really working on them at the moment. Still busy making some invitations for my online store. I took two videos while we were there and still not upload to my Flickr account :(( I am sure to share more photos later.

Butt Paste

End of season clearance

I have two small online stores that I run from home. I am satisfied with what I have earned so far. I work very hard to divide my free time, household and working at my online stores. There are a couple of things that I need to do to develop my online stores so I can earn a bit more money. Besides making a website to combine my two online stores, I need to make a Business Logo Design as well. It will make my business look more professional. I managed to get into contact with someone who can help me create a website.

After taking a break for a few weeks, I now am ready to create more products for 2011. I bought a new camera to support my store. I believe my income in 2011, will be better than it was in 2010 ^__^.

It is snowing. This year, we will have white Christmas. Tonight we are going to Jason's school for Christmas market. I hope by the time we go there, it is not snowing anymore.

I just saw an article about Park Hyatt Shanghai is one of the world's tallest hotel. I am impress with this building. According to the article that I wrote, there are around 8.525 rooms in this hotel. I was browsing through Google to see inside of this hotel. Amazing....

It's been my dream to have a website that can combine two of my online stores. Since I don't understand how to combine those online stores or get some personal web hosting, I did contact a person who is an expert. He is a programmer. He gave a reply to my question, only I didn't return a message to his email yet. Because in his email, he asked so many question to me first before he decided what I should pay for his work to make my dream website. I just realized, there are so many things to do and I don't have much time for that. Especially at this moment.

Winter is coming. We didn't have any snow yet, but the temperatures are dropping quite fast now. I hope this year, we don't have too much snow. We have seen enough snow last year. It was beautiful but it was tiring as well ^___* Last year, almost every day we had to get rid of the snow in front of our house to make it more easy for people walking past.

This cold weather, makes me lazy to go anywhere. I like to comfort myself just staying at home, sitting nice and warm in the living room.

Today, Jason and I plan to go to the city and eat in the McDonalds. Unfortunately, I had to cancel this plan because of the weather. Last night, we had a storm and now there are still windy and sometimes raining. Thanks God, Jason didn't too much disappointed because there is a movie that he want to see at the television.

While Jason was watching, I browsed through the Best Flight Simulator site. It looks like a cool software, real life flying. Last time we were stay at my hubby's uncle house, I saw he played this kind of software.

Sleepy

Today, I was SOO sleepy. In the morning, we spent our day to clean little bit our house. After lunch, we went to feed some ducks and birds to the lake near our house. But before we went out, while Jason was watching his serials cartoon on the television and my hubby was reading a book. I was lying down at our bed and I was sure that I was fell asleep for few minutes until Jason was calling me to go out.

I took few shots while we were outside. This was FUN shot while we were at the playground :D I took my camera when I saw them standing like that looking the sky.

Holiday season is coming

It's been a few years since I started making my own holiday cards designs with Adobe Photoshop Elements software. The program makes it easy for me, I don't have to write anything. After finishing a design, all I have to do is print it and then put the card in the envelope. This year however, I haven't even started yet. I am thinking to do so next month, after I buy the new Photoshop Elements 9. I can't wait to design our holiday cards with this new software :D. So far, I have been using Elements 6 over the last few years.

Last year, I made a holiday photo card. I used a photo of my son. This year, I came up with an idea to use a family photo. I made a couple of family photos this year.

Tomorrow will be a day of fun for Jason. He got a birthday invitation from his classmate. Yesterday, I bought a gift. Tomorrow will be Jason's first time to go to his classmate's house. I am curious, I hope he will enjoy his time with his classmates. I am planning to clean up our garden a little bit . There are lots of leaves. One of the things that I don't like about the Autumn season is that we need to invest so much extra time to clean our garden.

Florida

I have never been to Florida before. As a matter of fact, going to Florida is one of my dream travels. I am not sure when we might be able to visit Florida, but I am sure we could go there someday. At Circus

Last month, my hubby and Jason went to see circus at my hubby's work. Jason had a great day, it was his first time to watch circus. I was glad that they had a great time. I woke up too early this morning. the first thing I did was checking my email, the games that I play at Facebook and I still have time until my son wakes up. He wasn't feeling very well last night, maybe that's why he is little bit late waking up.

Storage

My hubby has two weeks vacation, starting today. He has a plan to change the look of our living room a little bit. Now, he has the time to do that. If he wants to change our living room, he also needs to think where he is going to put all his old movies that he has been collecting when he was still single. It would be nice if he had his own storage to put all those things.

Yesterday, we went to the fair at our village. We were too early when we arrived there. So...we went to do groceries and walked around.

Weight Loss

I gained weight, around 5-6 kg since I moved to the Netherlands six years ago. I tried to lose some weight after I gave birth to my son, but so far I am still around 51 kg.

If I want to achieve my goal to lose some weight, a diet weight loss program could be of great help, but I need to be committed to do so. Around 12 years ago, I made my self a promise that I would not eat any kind of peanuts because I had an acne problem. It was difficult but I managed not to eat peanuts. I believe if this time I commit myself to a healthy diet and exercise, I can lose a couple of kg. The only problem at the moment is that I am not ready for that commitment. I eat all kinds of food and I like to eat snacks ^___^ Oops... maybe next year, I might be ready for that diet.

I found a blog that gives information about how to lose weight. That blog is very new, it just started this month. But it can help us keeping an open mind. Since I am alone at home at the moment I had some extra time, I have been reading all the articles before I wrote this. Circus

Furniture and Watch Tower

Although we recently got ourselves a new bed and side closets, I still like to browse around at the bedroom furniture site. We have a plan to change the wardrobe in our living room and buy some outdoor furniture so we can sit in our garden. I don't know when we will be able to realize that wish though. Who knows, maybe we can find some furniture with a price that fits our budget.

I didn't find any wardrobe that I like but I did find some outdoor furniture. Let's see if my hubby agrees with me or not. We are trying to improve our house little by little :D

Today is my hubby's birthday. We went out with our bikes. I liked the view, I am looking forward to go there again next Spring. There are lots of fields. I am sure the view looks even better when Spring comes.

We took lots of photos and as usual I am looking forward to work on those for my online store. I still have lots of photos that I need to edit from our last trip. Today, we climbed all the way up this watch tower. Believe me, it was not easy for me.

At the Goudvis part 2

On Jason's birthday last Sunday, finally we went to the Goudvis. We did try to there a couple of times but it was cancel. It was because the bus not come. We tried 3 times. First time, I made a mistake with the time schedule of the bus. Second time, the bus was not come although we did wait until 30 minutes from the schedule and the third time was last Sunday. The bus was came on time. Jason was happy. I said to him, "Maybe the bus's driver knew that today is your birthday".

Blinds and Raining

We have been living in this house for almost 6 years and we still don't have something to cover our kitchen's window. I saw at my friend's house that she has blinds to cover all her windows in here house. I like it, maybe we could consider to cover our kitchen's window with blinds as well. Today, I had some time to browse at the window blinds site. Wow...I have never known that there are so many types of blinds: Venetian blinds, vertical blinds, roman blinds, etc.

Now, I am not sure what blinds would be perfect for our kitchen and maybe for our living room as well. Let's see if we could realize that, we need to make some calculations concerning our financial budget.

Outside is raining at the moment. It makes me sleepy. Today, we went out of town and we had fun. I took lots of photos on today's trip. Now, I have to use my spare time to edit those photos. Actually, I am thinking to edit those photos after I have finished this post. I hope I am not too sleepy to work with my photo software :D

I don't remember in which blogs, I ever wrote about my dream to have a site that can combine two of my online stores. Besides combining two of my online stores, I would also like it very much if I could make a display of all the products I have made and an automatic reference to those products. A friend of mine who has some expertise with building sites, said that besides an own domain, I need to order web hosting as well. It will cost some money, but it would give support to my dream site. Because of that I spent a some time reading about the best web hosting reviews. I do have a couple of names at this moment, but I haven't decided yet which providers I will ask to support my online stores.

We are going to the city this afternoon. My hubby only has to work until lunch. We are going to buy Jason's birthday present and a small gift for him that I plan to give after his operation next Tuesday. I am sure he will be happy to get all those presents. Actually, I already know what kind of gift we would like to give him as Christmas present hihihihi...

Our weekend

How was your weekend? My weekend so far was tiring but fun. Yesterday, we went with our bike to visit our niece. She is two months old and she is cute. I took a photo of Jason, my hubby and Ivy when we were there. After that, we went to visit my hubby's best friend. My hubby needed to return a book that he borrowed a few weeks ago. The way back to our house was faster then wen we went to the city. It took us only 40 minutes, thanks to the wind hihihihi....

Today, we have a plan as well. You can read about our plan in my earlier post. I hope we have a great time when we are there.

Tonight, if I am not too tired. I have a plan to create a couple of restaurant business cards for my online store. I was browsing through the "Business Card 24" site. Wow...amazing. Plan for Today

I am so excited because we are going to the "De Goudvis", today. It will be our first time to visit. Actually, a friend of mine who told me about this place. So...we plan to go there with a bus.

Actually, it was yesterday plan. It was mine fault that I saw wrong time for a bus. We were 1 hour to early arrived at the bus station :(( But today, my hubby and I did see the time very well so it might not wrong. I will share the photos later.

Summer and Vacation

What I like about the Summer season, is that that we can go on vacation anywhere we want when the weather is nice. This year, we didn't leave our country, we just stayed around our city. Remember last year, we went to London and last weekend, we went to the Steam Tram museum in Hoorn - Medemblik.

Talking about travel and vacation, our neighbor was looking for used rvs. A few days ago, when they were cleaning inside their 'newly' bought RV. My hubby and I had a chance to look inside the vehicle. I was impressed because it really looked like a house. There is a bedroom, a kitchen, living room and a toilet. Our neighbor will go on vacation this weekend with their "new" RV. We wished them a good vacation with their "new" vehicle.

Today, the weather is a little bit warm. For the first time, Jason refused to go on my bike. But we went out, just walked around our neighborhood with our cameras around our neck. We took quite a lot of photos. Jason asked to take photos with my DSLR. At the moment, the photos are still in my camera. Later this evening, I will upload them to my laptop and if I find an interesting photo. I will share it here ^___*

Stoomtram Museum

Last Saturday, one day after my birthday. We went to Stoomtram Museum (english Steam tram Museum) - Medemblik. Jason was having FUN that day. It was tiring day for us but at least we had FUN.

From our city, we went first to Hoorn with a bus (1 hour 1 minutes). Then we took old steam tram. That was our first experience sat in old steam tram :D I will share more photos later.

England

Last year, we went on vacation to London when Jason turned 3. It was fun and until now sometimes Jason is still talking about our vacation in London. I believe we are going to visit United Kingdom again someday because we are still want to visit other parts of UK. Like: Scotland, Wales, North of England, etc.

Today, the weather was not good, that's why Jason and I didn't go anywhere. While he was playing with his cars, I was browsing through the "Hoseasons" site. It is a really great vacation site. At Beverwijk

A couple weeks ago we went to the Bazaar in Beverwijk. From our city it took around 1 hour with the train to go there. It was our first time to go there. It was fun but also so tiring for us, because that time the weather was so warm.

We ate lots of food while we were there. Too bad, I didn't bring my camera so I could not take any photos while we were there. Besides food, we bought this keyboard as well. Jason loves to play music and I do like play keyboard as well same times. So... we decided to buy the keyboard. Although it is not professional keyboard but we had fun singing and play with this keyboard. This is one of the videos that I made while Jason and my hubby played.

Birthday presents

Almost everyday, if the weather is not too hot, Jason and I go out with my new bike. It is a good exercise for me as well. I might lose some weight if I can continue going out using my bike every day. this morning and afternoon though, we didn't have time to go for a ride. But surely, later this evening we are going, because a short while ago, Jason started a swimming course for toddlers .

At the moment, I have time to browse at the "Get Price" site while he is watching his favorite serial on the television. I am looking for a present for my hubby and Jason. Their upcoming birthday is next month. While I was there, I found out about BBQ Cooking Course. I think it is a great suggestion gift for my hubby. So...he could cook delicious BBQ in our backyard ^__* Let's see if he would agree to take this course.

For Jason, I am thinking to buy another Thomas and Friends set. I wonder if he is still interested with these trains. Last Christmas, we gave him a full set of Thomas & Friends trains. Hmmm...I think he will be very happy when he gets another Thomas and Friends set.

Lately I am so busy with my online stores. I am creating new products almost every day. I am addicted working at my online stores :D I can not help it, it is a hobby but also work for me. That's why I am really enjoy working in there.

Couple months ago, I wrote about Weird Hotels. One of the weird hotels in this world is Capsule Inn in Japan. The room rates per night is 4.000 Yen, so...it is around 36 Euro per night. Hmm...if I am in Tokyo, someday. I would like to visit this hotel and take some of photos (if they allow me to take some photos).

My question is have you ever to stay in this capsule inn?? Would you like to share your experience?

Without planning

Yesterday, we were planning to go out of town. I did prepare for our lunch and suddenly I canceled. It was because Jason woke up with high temperature. It was 38 degree Celsius. He refused to eat breakfast. I gave him a medicine and he throw up. After lunch, I took him in bed to sleep. We thought let him sleep and after that we could go to the city for dinner. He fell a sleep for about 1 hour and woke up with high temperature again, 40 degree Celsius.

My hubby was little bit disappointed because in 1 day, our two times planned were canceled. I said to him, maybe we could go out town next weekend. He said, I don't think it is a good idea to plan anything at the moment. Don't plan, just go when it is time :D

Yellowstone

Couple days ago, I saw photos a friend of mine who had vacation to Yellowstone National Park. OMG...So beautiful. I wish I could go there as well someday.

When I write this post, I did imagine things that I would like to do if I could go there hi hi hi hi... Maybe: bicycling, boating, picnic near Madison river, etc.

Our printer problem

I just noticed that we ran out of color printer ink. Last time, my hubby bought only black ink. I think we have to wait until we can find some cheap printer ink. Usually every Monday, we get some advertising brochures and I will make sure that I will not forget to search for printer ink :D

Besides running out of color printer ink, our printer has a problem with the scanner as well :(( We don't know, why suddenly the software won't work on our PC. My hubby did try to download again but it still didn't work. I had to ask my friend to scan the document that I needed to send via email. I hope this printer problem can be fixed soon.

A few minutes ago, I talked with my brother and sister in law through Skype. My nephew is not a baby anymore :D He grows up so fast and I've never seen him in person. When I can go back to Jakarta again I will see him. It was FUN to talk with them again.

I didn't chat with my mother because my brother said she had to go to the laboratory, tomorrow morning. That's why she went sleep so early, today. I miss her.

Today's Wedding

At this moment, there are lots of cheap wedding programs that will fit your budget. Around 5,5 years ago when we were planning our marriage. Later this evening if it is not raining, maybe we will try practicing with Jason using his now two wheeled bike. Yesterday was the first day for Jason to learn how to ride his bike without the supportive wheels. He was scared, I hope today he can be motivated to learn.

Last Sunday, I went out for photos hunting at Tulips and Daffodils field. It was fun and tiring because I went with my bike :D If I was not wrong, I went for about 2 hours. I got lots of fresh tulips and daffodils photos. I am still working on those photos and these are two of them.

Yesterday was fun

Yesterday, we were celebrating Queen's day. It was fun, we went out around our neighborhood. We went to see a market where people were selling second hand stuff. We bought a helicopter toy for Jason for €1,50. I took a few photos as well while we were there. I will share those later because my photos were in my laptop and now I am typing from our PC.

After that, we went to the plants market and bought few bags of loam and flowers. I hurried to plant the flowers in our garden. Yesterday was a very busy day for all of us. Oops, I Almost forgot, Jason was learning to ride his bike using two wheels, My husband took off the two supportive wheels.

In the night, after went to bed. I was watching 'Style by Jury'. Amazing how the experts can change the style of a person in only 1 week. The only section that I don't like to watch is where the doctor operates their eyes using a laser. It was too scary for me. But result afterthey get the laser treatment was amazing, they don't need eyeglasses anymore. If I could participate, I don't think I would dare to have the laser treatment. I prefer just using eyeglasses :D

This morning, I can't dropping EC at all because my son woke up too much early than usual time. I gave him a glass of milk and bread then I answered this fun quiz :D Some of the answer was true.
